Melissa Rabb Maisel has been working with tweens, teens and young adults for over three decades. With a masters in education from NYU and over 20 years teaching junior high students at two top NYC schools, Melissa’s unique work, passion and communication style has had an astounding impact on her students. As the creator and coordinator of an anti-bullying club dedicated to teaching tolerance, acceptance and diversity, Melissa has touched the hearts and minds of her students, many who reach out and confide in her years, even a decade, after they graduate. Although she was honored as Educator of the Year and received recognition from local political leaders for her dedication to anti-bullying, Melissa’s passion has always gone beyond teaching. Her unique understanding and ability to relate to this age group comes from being a mother of four children ages 18 to 25. The combination of her professional and personal experience and her warmth and approachable style (along with her availability via text and email at all times) has made Melissa an in demand personal growth coach.
